The Behavioral Health Collaborative is a group of stakeholders in San Miguel County who meet regularly to discuss behavioral health needs in the community. The Collaborative suggests direction for the Behavioral Health Solutions Panel.

Responsibilities of Collaborative

1.     Meet regularly to address gaps in services, ensure collaboration among organizations, identify community needs, and develop strategies and plans to improve behavioral health in the County

2.     Identify program initiatives to be addressed to the Behavioral Health Solutions Panel to improve the mental wellness of our communities and improve the delivery of behavioral health services in the County

3.     Engage in community outreach to determine behavioral health needs using a variety of methods including

a.     Attend community events related to behavioral health and provide updates to the Collaborative

b.     Report regularly on the status of programs from each agency

c.     Participate in any regional community needs assessments

4.     Seek additional funding sources to support the work of the Collaborative in the region.
