School Based Funding Grant
The Panel is interested in funding programs, projects, or initiatives that provide direct behavioral health services to students, improve the culture of schools, and improve the overall well-being of students in the district. We encourages school districts in San Miguel County to identify community partners to collaborate with on the delivery of services, promotion of opportunities for prosocial development and recognition for young people, and identify and implement curriculum that will expand opportunities for students to receive evidence-based training in life skills, social and emotional learning, and resilience building in a school setting. In addition, we encourage districts to collaborate with community partners to support school staff and provide training to staff and students about mental health and wellness.
